GET THE COVERDOG SCOOP!
In May 2015 DOGUE went on the ultimate search to find their Calendar Coverdog. The competition was tight with over 40 fash-hounds braving the paw-parazzi for our #lookbook competition, so a big thank you to every single pup who entered.
The final tallies are in...
DOGUE's adjudication panel scored each entrant on their attitude, uniqueness and beauty to determine the ultimate DOGUE Coverdog for the 2016 Calendar.
Here's what some of our adjudicators had to say about the comp:
- Coco-NUT the fox-shih: "I looked for a connection with the audience (i.e. me!) and which contestants’ manifested DOGUE values…”
- Bon Scott the beagle: "Most important to me was a keen sense of smell and a determination to succeed (well at least when it comes down to food)”.
- Lulu the little bitza: “I thought I was the “showgirl” but I see I have lots of competition in the beauty department. For me it came down to who showed the best style, flair, jenesequa!"
- Poppy the Schnoodle: "I couldn't stop gushing…OMG...how cute… the winner is like…totes adorbs"

FIRST PLACE GOES TO...
ALBUS! Albus the Griffon took the crown in his Boho Beauty Look, showing off his unique spirit and playful attitude while sporting Alqo Wasi's Joyful Life Jumper. This little guy was just full of character! Albus will be DOGUE's 2016 Calendar Coverdog and is taking home a new DOGUE bed, the complete Neem Miracle Collection, a DOGUE Fleur collar, lead and bowl!

SECOND PLACE GOES TO...
CELINE! Miss Celine the Cavalier took out second place in her adorable Miyow and Barkley Jumper - our Cosy Comf's look. Isn't she gorgeous?
Coming in second Celine will be featured in our 2016 Calendar and is also taking home the complete Neem Miracle collection, a DOGUE fleur collar, lead and bowl!

THIRD PLACE GOES TO...
OLLIE & MANI!
Ollie is a handsome Cocker Spaniel who graced us with his many looks...can you say Brad Pitt!? He sports multiple DOGUE jumpers choosing neutral colours to show off his handsome face. He's the ultimate Urban Beatnik.
Ollie will be featured in our 2016 Calendar and is also taking home the complete Neem Miracle collection, a DOGUE harness and bowl.
Mani the Poodle...well what can we say! Check out that style, this little guy clearly knows a think or two about colour co-ordination in the fashion world. Sporting a DOGUE Cable Knit, accessorising with a beautiful bow and a bit of colouring from his Canine Stylist.
