Margaret Hennessy | CEO, DOGUE Retail Group

Margaret Hennessy is the CEO of the DOGUE Retail Group, and comes from a successful background in Management Consulting, Business Improvement and Business Management. Margaret has an economics degree and a graduate diploma in Change Management from the University of Sydney. Margaret joined DOGUE in 2005 and has achieved significant growth for DOGUE and the brand. Under Margaret’s leadership, DOGUE launched its franchising arm in 2014, and is now assessing international opportunities, as well as more company stores and a broader service offering in Australia.

Margaret is truly passionate about the future of DOGUE and excited every day by the opportunities for this great business.  Surrounded by a fantastic team, Margaret enjoys daily interaction with many dogs and their owners through the Bondi store and the DOGUE Country Retreat.


Adrian Tucker | Business Manager

Adrian brings to DOGUE the experience of over 20 years working in the finance industry, having worked for organisations like Citi, Barclays and ABN Amro. He also spent time working for a small hedge fund, so has experienced business conditions in many different types of organisations.

It wasn’t, however, until he met and married Margaret that he was introduced to the world of dogs! Since DOGUE Country Retreat opened in 2012, Adrian has become actively involved in running the DOGUE business including: Accounts and Reporting, Franchise Support, Franchise Recruitment and Sales, Human Resources, Business Development, and Compliance. Adrian is thrilled by the opportunities in the pet industry and sees DOGUE as the perfect vehicle to dominate our chosen niche in the premium level of the dog retail and service industry.


Victoria Brown | Store Operations Manager

Victoria joined DOGUE late 2016 and fulfilled her search for the dream job that combined her love of animals and personal interaction. With a diverse background in retail management, brand management, training and animal behaviour, there was a lot of skills DOGUE could tap into!

As the key contact for all stores across the DOGUE network, Victoria is critical to keeping our network bustling along and always aiming to exceed expectations. DOGUE’s commitment to delivering exceptional service is a passion for Victoria and one that we invest profoundly in across the team.

Victoria is owned by a miniature Dachshund called Banjo, both being active members in the breed’s community; hosting Sydney’s North Shore Dachshund events and raising funds for a range of Dachshund charities.


Shauna Perry  | Brand & Marketing Manager

Shauna comes to DOGUE with over 11 years expertise in creating integrated marketing strategies, that have a strong focus on digital, social media, web and brand disciplines.

Shauna is passionate about enabling DOGUE and their franchisees to deliver on their strategic and commercial goals, particularly regarding brand strategy, creativity and digital innovation that will take customer experiences to the next level. Remaining at the forefront of digital, Shauna always ensures she is on hand to offer expert advice and direction to franchisees.

Shauna is the proud ‘paw-rent’ to her mini Groodle, Otis. Both love long walks around centennial park, exploring all the dog friendly cafes Sydney has to offer and organising the ‘Groodle Groupie’ quarterly meet-ups.


Amelia Perry | Business Development Manager

Since beginning her journey with DOGUE six years ago, Amelia has gained significant insight and expertise into the DOGUE group, our brand identity, service offering, and corporate marketing execution for in-store and online initiatives.

Amelia manages the franchise development and recruitment strategy implementing forward-thinking campaigns and identifying strategic partnerships. Keeping DOGUE on the pulse of reactive consumer trends, Amelia also manages the coordination, development and implementation of marketing and advertising design projects bringing a fresh and playful look and feel to the DOGUE brand identity.

Amelia’s dapper pup, Diesel is often found sporting the latest in apparel and accessories and is a regular contributor to clubDOGUE’s DIY blogs.


Lila Micevska | Finance Manager

Lila brings to DOGUE a breadth of knowledge and experience in the Finance, Accounting and Retail Industry’s, both domestic and internationally.

At DOGUE, Lila supports the HQ and Franchise teams in producing insightful data, driving processes and maximising the productivity of their teams and businesses. Lila is also a very keen mentor and coach and is always available to give extra support and encouragement to all members of the DOGUE family.

Lila is the super proud big sister of her Pomeranian cross Maltese little brother Rocco. They enjoy fun walks in the park and lots and lots of cuddle time!


Kate Duncan | Recruitment & Resources Manager

Kate’s experience spans over Business Management & Operations and Human Resources, particularly in the fashion, hair, beauty & wellness industries. Kate has a particular interest in franchising, having worked for franchises such as Endota Day Spa, Princess Polly, TONI&GUY and Anytime Fitness.

At DOGUE, Kate is the friendly voice you speak to when you are enquiring about owning your very own DOGUE and guides you through the exciting process! Kate is also responsible for all areas of Human Resources both at Houndquarters and as support for our franchisees – from recruitment through to training and development.

Kate is the proud mother of two very spoilt Schnoodles Archie and Tom. With a borderline unhealthy obsession with dogs, working for DOGUE is a dream come true for Kate!
