Behind the Design: 2023 Winter Collection

DOGUE’s 2023 Winter Collection is a sensational dog apparel collection that merges style and functionality, catering to our beloved four-legged companions. This meticulously curated collection embraces the perfect blend of fashion-forward designs and practicality, ensuring that our furry friends not only look adorable but also feel comfortable.

We sat down with founder, and creative director Simone Kingston to find out about the inspiration behind this furbulous collection.

What was your inspiration behind the collection?

I am so proud of the Collection. Designing apparel has to be one of my favourite things! I mean, who doesn’t like to update their wardrobe? This year has been so fun and a pleasure to work on, with all the gorgeous colours in this season. I have designed a range where there is something for everyone, whether your dog likes to dress up or down, or possibly is stylish enough to considering layering…a personal favourite of mine!

How do you decide on what styles to make?

Naturally with each collection I also like to keep in mind what we are currently offering in walk wear, bedding and bowls as where possible we like to be able to co-ordinate all looks.  So customers will find this years apparel will work in well with other ranges, as DOGUE is all about mixing and matching.

What are your favourite pieces in the collection?

From super soft fake fur to tweed enhanced puffer jackets, DOGUE’s customers are spoilt for choice when it comes to “what to wear” this Winter. We have reintroduced our best selling Cable Knit Jumpers but in fresh new colours and have added some sporty Stripy Joe Sweaters which work beautifully when layered under our Essential Raincoats.

How would you describe the collection … in one sentence?

A blend of fashionable colours, exclusive fabrics and unique looks, a range that has something for everyone (plus it is guaranteed to keep our dogs warm, dry and looking good throughout the season).
