DOGUE is leading the way for Sustainable Grooming Salons!
Sustainable Salons Australia have recently opened up their recycling program to new categories, including Grooming Salons! DOGUE Brighton & DOGUE Bondi didn't think twice about jumping on board!
DOGUE Brighton Store Manager Alysha, chatted with the 'The Green Chair' about how being a part of the Sustainable Salons Australia program has made a difference to her store and her clients:
"Becoming a part of the Sustainable Salons family has given us the opportunity to teach people that even their pooch can help keep our planet beautiful. We have love educating our clients about how hair clippings are collected to help clean up oil spills! The most gratifying part is taking out our general waste at the end of the week and seeing how little we have! It just goes to show how much of our waste can be recycled for the greater good.”
By becoming a green Grooming Salon we are reducing our ecological paw-print, achieving zero waste and supporting charitable causes.
